Most of those sorts of things have about 30 seconds of flight time on one tank of fuel. Not that practical.

 

So you haven't seen this?

 

Granted, it's not a "jet," and I wouldn't go so far as to say it's "practical," but hey, 30 minutes is a whole lot cooler than 30 seconds.
