Is blood actually blue?

Featured Replies

what i read on this site i just went to said that arterial blood is bright red and venous blood is dark red.

the blue veins you see look blue because they are actually white, and your skin absorbs more red than blue. so the blue portion of the white colored veins is seen through your skin which is colored light red because of the blood circulating through it.

If you cant see it, it has no color.....If its red when you see it then it is red.
