On my I-pod mini it says under "contacts" that you can store up to one thousand contacts right alongside your music. I was wondering if you could hack into this to get more music space?

It says that you can store it right along side your music. So i'm pretty sure.

I very much doubt it is reserved space.

 

The iPod gives you one big hard drive. You can put any files you want on there, incl. music/videos/addresses etc., they're not going to reserve space for different things. That's just stupid.
