Who thought of "The Nature of the Feilds"?

its been considered by many almost since man was able to question, but the Fields existed long Before man, from that very Attosecond indeed Femtosecond the universe (as we know it) as you mentioned began.

I was just curious about it because my professor had it written on the board and never asked up so i wanted to know. Also can you help me a little more?

 

I cant seem to find anyhting on "the nature of the Feilds" or "the feilds" can you go inot more detail about what it is or give me a site that describes what it is?
