Sweet, sweet broadband

Featured Replies

Just got back from my cousins in England. They only had 18.8kbps dialup. Oh how i missed broadband. it seems faster now than it every has before. no need to wait a full minute for my posts to get put up or the full hour for any picture intensive sites to show up.

I live in England and have broadband.

Whilst generally the UK is behind Europe and America with broadband, in the average speed is slower and it's more expensive, most people who have internet do use broadband.

Although at the beginning of this year internet speeds are getting faster/cheaper in the UK... or that was the plan at the end of 2005 anyway!

No they could have access to broadband its just that they don't use the internet too much. i wasn't trying to imply that the whole of england didn't have broadband.

However the customer service is getting slower / sh*tter in the UK.
