Quantum theory is the analysis of the micro-world. The world of the super-tiny. The world of atoms, electrons, photons etc, and how they interact, or how they don't interact, or appear to the observer. The quantum world is frought with mystery. Leave all common sense at the front door and enter the house of despair and frustrtation. Leave behind all normal ideas of reality and enter the quantum world. Understand the quantum world at the cost of your own sanity. Look up the 'double slit experiment' on the web and see the mystery of nature and how it we view it.

Quantum physics has kept philosophers in their jobs and opened up a world we struggle to understand, and compare with our own sense of reality.
