i program java and use bluej to program. The problem is not all the computers in my school hava bluej and we are not allowed to install programs on the school computers.

 

Does anyone know a protable java compiler?(by portable i mean the kind that can be installed on a usb stick and you can just run them off the usb stick)

Well, why dont you compile your work before hand and save it to the USB disk?

 

most certainly, every computer will have a java interpreter, if that computer can run an applet on IE.

i actually want to be programming during my free periods in the library, which does not have bluej, i was wandering if there was something that i can use to program java with.

if I remember correctly the jdk from sun will work fine from a portable device...
