the internet on my laptop stopped working. i beileive the problem is that the computer reorderd the pccards so slot one is registered as four. the internet is connected to slot one and i cant figure out how to switch them back. any help would be most welcome.

Hmm... jk. Try going into the devices manager and seeing if there's anything funky going on with the PC card, and setting it back the way it was, if you can.

Problem sovled, if anybody cares. I just removed the PCMCIA services in the devices manager, restarted the computer and reinstalled the drivers. Windows took care of the rest.
