Is pure creatine safe for direct contact with dermis/bloodstream?

Featured Replies

Hello there! I am considering using a creatine based water solution to encourage collagen synthesis while microneedling my face. I'm wondering if there is a dilution ratio anyone can recommend? Also would pure witch hazel be a safe addition to the toner? I appreciate any help I can get! 😇

I wish you a very pleasant conversation with a licensed and board certified doctor of dermatology!

That is a fair response TheVat 😁

I continued the search and found this patent https://patents.google.com/patent/WO2001000203A1/en which suggests transdermal application of creatine is a safe endeavor. Hopefully someone with cosmetic chemistry experience can chime in with recommendations of natural ingredients/measurements for a potential formula🤞

Moderator Note

AFAIK, patents do not have any assessment for safety.

The Vat’s advice is good; owing to your framing of the inquiry I have to close this since we don’t dispense medical advice
