[HELP] - Unable To Type Anything In Windows 10 Search Box!

Featured Replies

Hello friends,

I am a Windows user and recently I am encountering a serious problem on Windows 10 search bar. When I go to type something in the search bar of Windows 10, I fail to type there. Has anyone encountered such a problem before? Please help me to fix the issue.

Hi @Sensei, Thank you for your help. I also found this post https://silicophilic.com/cant-type-in-the-search-box-in-windows-10-how-to-fix. It suggested to use the Powershell Command that also exists in those articles which you shared. But, I have never used the Powershell command before. So I am a little worried by thinking, if use this command, will there be any problem in computer in future. Have you used the Powershell command before?

You already have problems with your PC. So you don't risk much. Making backups frequently is generally a good idea. Make backup of the most important things on pendrive and then give it a try..
