apparently the number "One" is the most frequently occuring in any set of data by 30%.

is this True? and if it is, Why is it?

I`ve searched the net for it and comeup with very little, but there is a mathematical explaination named after a guy with the 1`st letter "B" in his name (it was noisey and I didn`t catch all the info about it).

Swansont, yer a Star! thnx man :)

Spooky. Being quite simplistic I would have thought that it would arise if a human were picking form any set they percieved to be ordered. They feel closer to the smallest element so subconsciously they "balance" their random choices in kind. Is it a cognitive bias or is it supposed to be a real physical phenomenon?
