How you will prepare the following solutions:

Solution 1 (500 mL; pH 8.5)

1% Tryptone + 0.5% yeast extract + 200 mMNaCl

Solution 2 (500 mL; pH 8.8)

50 mM glucose + 10 mM EDTA + 25 mMTris (pH 8.0)

I'd probably ask a student named Hussain to do it for me. That way, he could use his time to work through it and learn something instead of me doing it for him.
