When people ask could there be life on mars or pluto or mercury.... the answer is always "no it would be too hot or too cold for the organisms to survive"

 

What if the organisims evolved to withstand that environmental pressures? Why would they have to be like us here on Earth?

Why when people are thinking about 'aliens' or life on other universes.. why would they always be thought to be more superior than us?

People whose job it is to know about these things don't make that assumption.

 

We already know about hundreds of extremophilic species on Earth; there's no reason they could not thrive elsewhere.

The lack of atmosphere is also a factor.

It makes for better story telling.

Maybe also because on average humans are a tad on the unimpressive side

Also if alians reach us they'll at least have to be technologically supirior... As we can't reach them can we?

these "People" coupled with "They" never make alot of sense anyway, and the majority of the rest are just "Sheeple"!

 

in addition to Sayos point about Hi temp extremes, there`s also the lower extremes too, such as that of the Water Bear, it really takes the biscuit when it comes to low temp extremes! granted it`s microscopic, but we also have macroscopic animals that can take mega extremes of cold too, certain frogs and crickets can be frozen solid enough to shatter like glass and then "come back to life" when it gets a little warmer

and that`s just on Our "little blue ball" in space!
