Rosuvastatin During pregnancy

Does Rosuvastatin cause birth defects? My aunt used it for three months without knowing she was pregnant and unfortunately it had been her first trimester. Are there any proven evidences in regard? if so, please be kind to mention here.

Her doctor is the best person to speak about her concerns as they will have the correct information specific to her circumstances.

Yeah..She's to meet her doctor..I just wanted to know if there's any severe bad effects before getting to doctor. Btw, thank you very much for your opinion

No problem, I  wish for her no worries and a happy outcome. Most drugs have side effects, some bad,  but whether they are a risk or relevant to your aunt only a medical professional, with her records in their hands,  can properly assess her situation.
