Solving this equation with the formula of quadratic equation.

Featured Replies

So, how on Earth do I solve this equation using the quadratic formula. e^2x+e^x-6=0

Thank you for helping.

Have you heard of substitution of variables?

See if it rings a bell and post what you make of it.

Oh I got it now. I have to replace the e^x with variable for example a, in order solve it with quadratic formula. Then I simply set that e^x=a (whatever a will be)

Thanks

Far better that you have solved it yourself with a hint.

Well done and thanks for coming back. +1
