swansont Posted July 29, 2005 Share Posted July 29, 2005 Biased measurements are inaccurate, by definition. They should also be avoided. The problem is the use of "always" because then only one counterexample falsifies the statement, like two biases that somehow cancel (but would that then be considered bias?) Sarahisme Posted July 30, 2005 Author Share Posted July 30, 2005 lol yeah thats what i was thinking is that sometime if you know the measurements are biased, say you know that you know they are below what the true value is, then that will give you a lower bound on the value....that sort of thing...so yeah... well what about the second question then?
