Can the drug GHB (gamma hydroxybutrate) he absorbed through the skin?

Can the party drug GHB be absorbed through the skin? If so can it be absorbed in significant amounts? Just read something on Reddit where a woman was given a business card that was laced with GHB and she started feeling tired and sick. Not sure how true the story is but it’s kind of scary thinking about that. I work in customer service so I’m being handed business cards all the time... Does anyone know if gettting the liquid on your hands cause you to get high? Or can the liquid/substance be absorbed through the skin and enter your bloodstream?

Then you need a lot of that stuff, the business card should be wet and the guy who hand it over had to wear gloves.
