Will a man get sick if he inherits a recessive X chromosome?

Hello guys :)

 

I'm really struggling with the question of whether or not a man get sick if he inherits a recessive X chromosome?

On one hand I'm thinking that, yes he will get sick as he has no other alternative X chromosome to cover for the "faulty" one he has received and therefor he will become i'll. On the other hand I'm thinking that there has to be men who is carrying a recessive X chromosome that are not sick.
