What are the main weaknesses of the wave model of light travel in the photoelectric effect?

oh sorry, I'm new, I can condense them into one in the future.

I know that the increase in intensity would have increased the amplitude of the wave, not the frequency and that the frequency increased was expected to increase the number of photons emitted, not the kinetic energy. My assessment asks for 3 reasons but I have looked everywhere and can only find those two.
