Yet another victory for the Bush/Ashcroft Justice Department, IMO, closing the last chapter on the largest case of accounting fraud in US history.

And here I thought the liberals were predicting that the big corporate criminals would get off "scot free" under a Bush administration.

Put him under the jail house for good. He is a selfish, greedy no good pig to steal from so many hard-working Americans.

Yep....The Bush administration is terrible tough on businesses....... and the best friend of low income earners and/or the disadvantaged.

How much of this was instigated by Bush or Ashcroft though? Or is it a matter of them not calling in favours for their corporate friends, as might have been expected?

There may not have been any instigations. Worldcom chief Bernard Ebbers deserved what he got, perhaps Bush and Ashcroft agree.
