Diaphragm motion [acoustics]

Featured Replies

Hello.

The wave of a half submerged in water loudspeaker is received by a dry microphone as 1 Pascal sound pressure level SPL. Its diaphragm vibrates say 0.01mm in amplitude.

The wet microphone diaphragm should vibrate a larger, same or smaller amplitude ?

(Both microphones equal, equidistant and vented)
