I am trying to determine MeOH in Tavaborole Drug Substance using Headspace GC and GC column DB-624 30m x 0.53mm x 3.0 um with sample weight of 25 mg in 5ml DMA solvent (Spec. limit of MeOH is 3000 ppm). However, I am getting low recovery around 84% when I am doing Accuracy at 100% and 150% level.

I would greatly appreciate any suggestion to improve the recovery

I can't promise anything, but if you post a copy of the protocol you are following I will look at it + see if I can spot anything.

The problem with that is that your employer may not want that protocol in the public domain- in which case this web site can't really help you much.
