jehilliard Posted September 3, 2017 Share Posted September 3, 2017 I had a pre-op chest x-ray. The report says flattened diaphragm lungs hyper inflated COPD. I don't smoke. I have no s/s of COPD. The x-ray tech had me take a deep breath and hold while taking the picture. Won't that cause the things listed in the report? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Smoking is the principal cause of COPD but not the only one. You need to feel comfortable asking these questions of the team of professionals working to keep you healthy.
