Chest X-ray

Featured Replies

I had a pre-op chest x-ray. The report says flattened diaphragm lungs hyper inflated COPD. I don't smoke. I have no s/s of COPD. The x-ray tech had me take a deep breath and hold while taking the picture. Won't that cause the things listed in the report?

Why are you asking people on the internet when your doctors are available before the operation? Smoking is the principal cause of COPD but not the only one.

You need to feel comfortable asking these questions of the team of professionals working to keep you healthy. They need to know your concerns. Please consult them ASAP.
