Well exams are coming up and id like to memorize something easy casue i have to define like 28 words, im looking for short version of the term for easy memoring, thanks.

nvm you guys dont understand.... im looking for a easier phrase to learn not the dictionary reference of a long sentance.

As far as i know mitosis cannot be explained in a few words.

I don't know what exams your doing but you need to know all the stages -

 

Prophase I & II

Anaphase

Metaphase

Telophase

Cytokenisis

 

As well as what happens in each one!

 

This is the case for most of these words, even an atom is expressed in more than one sentance. Time to start cramming.

No one memorizes the definitions of words; they just know what they are. If you want to do good on a science exam, I suggest you recognize those words and concentrate harder on ideas (how mitosis, meiosis, static electricity work etc.) and the short answer questions.
