So many times in past centuries has there been condemnation of theories that turned out to be true. Cosmology, medical knowledge etc. People from Einstein to Edison say to ignore skeptics and persist in your work. If you wrestle with pigs you get dirty. Kind of like debating something with Don Trump. Why bother. Why ask the air force if there is such a thing as flying saucers. Lesser minds lacking objectivity and who aren't worth bothering with get caught up in ego battles- not on searching for merit in a thing but in trying to resolve offended personal beliefs. If we don't ignore authority then maybe we're all dummies.
