Do you recall reading in Franco's first post that there are young children involved? Franco seems interested in working on his marriage. It does not sound over to me.

I disagree. It is more damaging for children to be brought up in a dysfunctional family than one where the parents are separated.

i would assume that it depends on how the divorse was handled -- it would surely be better to grow up in a slightly dysfunctional family than in a family that goes through a messy divorse (and conversly, better a clean divorse than a highly disfunctional family)
