  1. No... the OP knew exactly what he was talking about, it is the rest of you who don't have a clue!!!:P As for the question, I have no doubt that Australia will win, that little hiccup with the Poms and the Kiwis will not be repeated when we have a full strength team. Furthermore, baseball doesn't even compare with cricket.

    here here, couldnt agree more.

    Australia FTW!

  2. I wish to find how how many grams of CO2 are needed to enrich a room to 1500ppm. I've tried to work it out but cannot figure it out completely.

The dimensions of the room are 2.9m*1.9m*0.9m which equals 4.959m cubed rounded off to 5 cubic meters.

Then to find how many cubic meters of CO2 are needed this is multiplied by 0.0015

    5*0.0015 = 0.0075 cubic meters of CO2 needed.

At a temperature of 25C and pressure of 100kPa 1 mole of a gas will occupy 24.79L.

1 mole of CO2 has a mass of 44 grams.

    .0075 (cubic meters) = 7.5 liters

    24.79L/7.5L = 3.3053 grams of CO2 needed?

This cannot be correct and I must have gone wrong somewhere could someone help put me on the right track?

  3. If that is so why would they bother putting the logo in? Plus the phrase "original thinking" sounds like it came from marketing. I think its just an internet ad, something that is really outrageous and everyone sends it to their friends or posts it on forums so it gets more exposure.

  4. At the end of the video it has Quicksilver's logo and since they make surf clothing etc. it makes me think that Quicksilver made the ad. Whether it is real or not I'm not sure. It certainly looks real but as other people have said you would have thought it would be on the news.

  5. I received this picture in an email thats been going around so I don't know if anyone has already seen it but I'd like to show it anyway.

"Sometimes the sky itself is the best show in town. On January 26, people from Perth, Australia gathered on a local beach to watch a sky light up with delights near and far. Nearby, fireworks exploded as part of Australia Day celebrations. On the far right, lightning from a thunderstorm flashed in the distance. Near the image center, though, seen through clouds, was the most unusual sight of all: Comet McNaught. The photogenic comet was so bright that it even remained visible though the din of Earthly flashes. Comet McNaught continues to move out from the Sun and dim, but should remain visible in southern skies with binoculars through the end of this month. The above image is actually a three photograph panorama digitally processed to reduce red reflections from the exploding firework."

  6. imo the metallic ones with slide on iron weights are the best. You can change the weight as you progress at GutZ said and use different weights for different exercises.

  7. haha i love it.

I'm thinking I might print several of these babies off in my free period and distribute them around the school, or maybe put some in teachers pigeon holes to be handed out in rollcall.

Operation Hoff Bomb is a go

  8. The author sounds like he has a little bit of a problem. I normally just smile or say hi if I walk past someone in my neighbourhood. I don't think that this applies if you were in the city though, depends where you are I suppose.

  9. I have obtained about 2.5 litres of battery acid strength sulfuric acid which has been filtered. I tried to concentrate it by boiling it in a stainless steel pot outside. After about 5 minutes of heating the acid turned cloudy white and started producing noxious fumes which were not visible, the acid hadn't started to boil yet. The acid started to react with the metal pot and after about 10 mins it had changed from being cloudy white to a pale green/torquoise colour. The inside of the pot now has a black coating of somthing.

What I think happened is that when the acid was heated it reacted with the metal, maybe the chrome? But what I wish to know is what has formed in the acid and whether it can be removed. Next time I will use glass but I do not have any scientific equipment because I can't find anywhere that sells it retail.

  10. Rap in general? Or are you talking about a specific artist or time period? Either way I do not know if I can judge it on artistic merit. Music is a matter of personal choice.

  11. I'd agree with crap because todays rap has no soul and is about the money. In 1996 rap died, prior to that it was good and I like music from that time. I only like the music from artists like Tupac Shakur and a couple others. "Changes" was the first song I listened to by Tupac and thats why I like his music.

I agree with Callipygous, not all songs put down women. "Keep Ya Head up" by Tupac is the opposite. Instead of posting the lyrics ill just post the url.
