  1. Mmm, well...it's been a good few years since I was on this forum. I decided to keep the username, even though it brings up memories of a scientifically ignorant spam monkey. On that note, I'm glad to be back. Edit: ...and time to change that avatar and signature.
  2. There is much debate over describing Minknowski space as either continous or discrete because there is no identities to describe it so the hope of ever dividing space is still possible under the lack of knowledge of Minknowski space so far.
  3. Try and steer clear of File Sharing programmes that are packed with spyware, adware, trojans etc, etc, it never a good idea. I would say go for WinMX
  4. However I think we are talking about involving 'real life Minkowski space' we still have to take into acount that the idea of a mathematical so if Minkowski space was to be described as continous. Don't we have the same properties of Euclidean space and so we could infer that the BT paradox can still be taken forward?
  5. I haven't been in the forum in ages so I thought I'd say hi (not that anyone rembers me ) I got into a discussion about the BT paradox and I was wondering what would happen if we converted the paradox from Euclidean space to Minkowski space. Ideas?
  6. Chatrooms still not working for me
  7. I just got one too: Forbidden You don't have permission to access /forums/showthread.php on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
  8. I have discussed this before and someone said that it could be some very heavy material such as neutronium, I don't know what to think.
  9. I am not saying that String Theory is the right "Theory for Everything" even though I myself beleif in it. But I can safely say the String Theory seems to be the only Theory that is pushing itself forwards towards the way of a "Theory of Everything" and because of that even if you don't beleive I think it should still be given respect, as well as the scienctist that have dedicated their lives to it.

  14. Yep, it is very true the nasty Spyware L2M, CWS etc, etc. Can stop scanners, stop people going to sites that help with spyware etc, etc. I strongly recommend that ecoli sorts it out. If you get a HijackThis log I can sort all the spyware out.

  16. Well, I never knew that. It's quite strange, does anyone know why?
  17. ecoli probally some form of malware is stopping Ad-Aware in its tracks. I advise that you download HijackThis: http://www.majorgeeks.com/download3155.html And post your log at: http://www.spywareinfo.com Or if you are allowed you could post it here and I could have a look through
  18. I don't know if this is just me but the link on the forum to the Chatroom opens a window then just goes white, I don't know if you updated the Chatroom software too.
  19. I haven't given up hope of ETI and I still have SETI at home running on my desktop, but to tell the truth, I think that SETI themselves have given up their webpage is rubbish and not maintained. I think they need to sort it out.
  20. I personally think that the BNP Party hides it's racist intensions by dressing them up as a political party - a fake polical party. And I think that no-one should support them and their racist ideas.
  21. I just read my post it was probally the worst worded post EVER, I did as YT suggested mean Tachyons, I should have read through my post. I'm quite embarrassed now
  22. If you want to use a new browser I just suggest that you forget about IE and just leave it where it is. It will be to much of a hassle to get rid of. And I suggest Firefox
  23. So I just wanted to know what people thought about the existance of time as a particle. Quite and interesting statement and one that definately "thinks outside the box", so what does everyone else think about it here.
