  1. By hoax I mean, they aren't pyramids. At least not in the classical sense. I don't see any reason to believe they are in fact pyramids, they might be archaeological sites but they are not pyramids as far as I can see. Have you read the Wikipedia article?
  2. Wikipedia on Bosnian pyramids: It seems controversial. I think I smell hoax.
  3. Could it be that women being sexually suppressed in the past have kept quieter when asked about their libidos and thus have created a false image to medicine? On the other side doctors in the past were mostly men and thus failed to care or were embarrassed asking women for their libido levels? It could also be that women are more stealth when turned on as opposed to men I'm confused as well, because I have a really high libido as well, as high as my boyfriend normally, but higher sometimes.
  4. Just curious if there is any proof that so called human races are subspecies of human. Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Race_(classification_of_human_beings)#Race_as_subspecies
  5. Change in environment is one of the major catalysts in making a species go through some form of adaptation, adaptation to make the species (more) suitable to living in the environment. If that can't be done; extinct. Like you so rightly expressed. Basically any change in the environment the species is in directly affects it, because evolution is such a long event compared to our lifespans it may not be noticeable. Though obviously extinction can be a very fast chain of events lasting even a few years, adaptation on the other hand is slower paced, usually. Think of the shark/ray split.
  6. Could it be because animals don't need it? The hair could be a fluke or it could be a barrier to UV radiation, protecting the head, which makes sense since it's the most exposed to the sun and contains the brain. I read the Wikipedia article it's pretty good.
  7. Hi, I'm studying Computer Science in my 3rd year at a UK university (I'm a girl just to break any stereotype you may have been forming). I have a particular interest in Cognitive Science, Evolution, Computer Science (obviously) and Human Biology but I find most things interesting. I found this site on Google and started reading and can't stop at the moment. I think I like this place.
