    The Official "Introduce Yourself" Thread

    Good day to you all, I was sent here through a link in a coursera class forum on the subject of LaTeX. My interests are mathematics and applications in astronomy and/or astrophysics. At this time I probably have a sub standard high school graduate grasp of basic maths but I believe my understanding of some concepts is not as shameful. Thank you for making this wonderful place and I look forward to, and hopefully do so, becoming a positive member. -n
