  1. [quote. I personnally think the series is fine. If you take Tony Hawk Pro Skater for example, you play but you know not to jump out of a window. QUOTE] Hahaha youd be surprised. Let me put it this way if it was jumping out of a window with no chance of survival fanatic people wouldnt do it, but if it guaranteed atr least a small chance youd see people doing it. Ex. I was temped to take the Fedex truck I knew I wasnt going to get shot for doing it. Get it now.
  2. When I saw the name of the thread I thought damn I must open up a can of beer to enjoy the Bullshit Im about to read hehehe and surely Adam made my day hahaha. I ask myself why? what is he trying to proof? doesent he know hes conversation is being posted on the thread and its making him look like a total Idiot?
  3. True there is alot f fantasy but teens are still being reinforcedby the game to wanna steal cars, wich is not a fantasy. I gotta admit after playing hours of GTA I was tempted to take an unguarded Fedex truck with the keys inside for a spin; but then I realized I should stop playing the game for a while hehehe.
  4. See lets not get mistaken;there are three or four types of people that can get exited by the movies and wanna do somthing similar in the real world. 1. Stupid people 2. people with imagination 3. Kids mostly teens though sometimes the worst combination is stupid teens because not only do they feel invincible but they are stupid as well. for example teens that tried thejack ass stunts after they saw the movie. Persnally I get exited from a book also so it would put me in the imagination category cuse stupid people dont read much hehehe
  5. I disagree big time and I love video games. Dont tell me Mortal Kombat 1 didnt make you wanna kick some ass lol.
  6. Oh you have no Idea how crazy the stuff being released today is. If you think Grand theft auto is insane then check out Postal part 2!:flame: :haha:
  7. I was wondering if I could get some help. Im trying to write a book since I got nothing to do this summer lol so if anybody knows how to make an outline for a book please help Im really interested in this thanks.
  8. I dont know if this may sound a little far fetched but what if it is possible that our thoughts may travel through time at some points. For instance people are able to have preminitions or dream of actual things o come. I think we may not be able to physically travel through time but if we could I think our thoughts would have a much easier time doing so.
  9. Im gonna make up a theory righ now ok. "just the fact that you were able to imagine it makes it possible for it to occur" how about that!

    Sars

You have a good reply its just hard for me at times to not relate anything that has to do with lessening their popultion with doing it intentionally. For instance if they went to war tommorrow I would say it was either for land or to lower population. After all their isnt enough bullets in he world to kill off the chinese army.
  11. Yes true But I meant why is it that one has a different perception while under the influence of marijuana. Like being analytical I dont know Im just curious to know why that actually is. And both alcohol and marijuana are depressants yet one will leave you mellow for the rest of your life if you smoke too much or too long and the other just makes you violent and want sex its strange. I just felt like asking cause Im not in the mood to research it haha

    Sars

If anything one of my beliefs about this SARS deseas is that it was brought on by the Chinese Governmet to reduce population and at the same time they didnt give a fuck if the rest of the world had some. After all now that I think of it aids sounds like it was brought under similar motives.
  13. Ok thats weird so what do we need the brain cells for? and by regenerating do you mean that the ones you lost come back? Oh and since we are on the topic of the brain just curious if anybody knew the specific effects of marijuana on the bain. Like why does it make one so analytical?
  14. Nah nobody can really prove the conciousness thing nobody knows were it comes from. Anyway the fact that the person can see what is going on while they are clinically dead is strong, because this has been expiriencd by many and their has been many witnesses.
  15. August 21, 2002 Posted: 8:14 AM EDT (1214 GMT) (CNN) -- In an eerie recreation of Steven Spielberg's blockbuster movie "Jurassic Park", scientists are planning to clone an extinct animal to be the central attraction of a wildlife park. The Times of London reports that Japanese scientists are planning to use tissue from the legs and testicles of a dead mammoth to clone the extinct creature and display it at an Ice Age wildlife park in Siberia. Mammoths became extinct about 10,000 years ago, but using a technique that involves impregnating an Indian elephant -- its closest genetic relative -- with mammoth sperm and then repeating the procedure with its offspring could produce a creature that is 88 percent mammoth in 50 years, the report said. An alternative technique would involve cloning the mammoth from DNA found in the soft tissue, but although methods of extraction have improved, complete strands of DNA from mammoths are still hard to come by. This specimen, believed to have been buried in an avalanche 25,000 to 30,000 years ago, was found in 1994, but it wasn't until this month when an expedition was sent to the site following Japanese interest from universities in Kinki and Tifu. Ten million buried in permafrost Fictional cloned dinosaurs were placed in a park setting in the Jurassic Park movies Those behind the planned park are already populating the site in north-east Siberia with other species from the Ice Age in hopeful anticipation of the mammoth's arrival. There are currently hundreds of wild horses and musk ox grazing the land by the River Kolyma, and talks to import bison from Canada are already underway. Mammoths, large herbivorous mammals that resemble modern elephants, first appeared on Earth four million years ago. Scientists are unsure whether global climate change or hunting by early humans -- or a combination of both -- drove the mammoth to extinction. There are believed to be ten million mammoths buried in the permafrost in Siberia, but because of the sparse population in the region only around one hundred specimens have been recovered. However, despite the fact that most mammoths recovered from Siberia are seen as some of the finest museum examples in the world, poor excavation and preservation methods have ruined the chances for any reproduction of the animals by destroying tissue samples.
  16. Ive been wondering if anybody knew of any proof why people are capable of seeing their own bodies and the people around them while they are dead, what I mean is while they are going through a near death expirience, it just seems like you have to believe it because the people present at the time claim that the victim was completely right on everyting they saw.
  17. SEOUL, South Korea (March 2) - North Korea warned Sunday of ''nuclear disasters'' around the world if Washington attacks the communist state, while its civilian leaders urged greater cooperation between Pyongyang and Seoul to ease the crisis on the Korean Peninsula. The North's official Rodong Sinmun newspaper accused the Central Intelligence Agency of preparing a surprise attack on the nation's nuclear facilities that are suspected of being used to make atomic bombs. ''If the U.S. imperialists ignite a war on the Korean Peninsula, the war will turn into a nuclear war,'' Rodong said. ''As a consequence, the Koreans in the north and south and the people in Asia and the rest of the world will suffer horrifying nuclear disasters.'' The report, carried by the North's state-run KCNA news agency, claimed that Washington put its forces around the peninsula on ''semi-war footing'' and ''is pushing ahead with nuclear war preparations in full swing.'' Pyongyang accuses Washington of inciting the nuclear standoff as a pretext for an invasion. Washington has repeatedly said it has no plans to attack North Korea, but stresses that ''all options are on the table.'' In Seoul on Sunday, North Korea's religious and civic leaders took part in inter-Korean religious masses and urged greater cooperation between the two Koreas. ''Preventing war through national cooperation is the most urgent task of the nation,'' said Ri Mun Hwan, a senior North Korean delegate. ''If war breaks out, the South cannot be safe and the entire nation will face disaster.'' Another delegate, Oh Kyung Woo, said the ''United States is threatening a nuclear war, but if war breaks out both South and North will incur damages,'' according to South Korea's national Yonhap news agency. ''Foreign forces will never give us reunification. We must cooperate with each other,'' Oh was quoted as saying. The comments were made during religious masses at a cathedral, a church, a Buddhist temple and other religious locations, which were attended by thousands of South Koreans. The ceremonies were a part of an inter-Korean festival to mark the anniversary of a major independence uprising against Japanese colonial rule on March 1, 1919. Pyongyang sent 105 delegates to Seoul on Saturday for the three-day festival. Both Koreas mark the uprising as a major holiday. Japan ruled the peninsula from 1910 to 1945. Rodong, monitored by South Korea's national Yonhap news agency, reiterated that the North's nuclear activities were ''strictly for peaceful purposes and poses no threat to anyone.'' ''Crushing the U.S. plot to attack North Korea is a very important issue related to peace and safety of Asia and the world, the existence and future of mankind,'' Rodong said. Raising tensions last week, North Korea test-fired a missile into the sea off its east coast. Pyongyang also reactivated a 5-megawatt reactor that could produce plutonium for nuclear weapons, U.S. and South Korean officials said. On Saturday, North Korea said nuclear war could break out on the peninsula at ''any moment,'' after South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun warned of a ''calamity'' unless the standoff is resolved peacefully and quickly. The dispute flared in October when Washington said North Korea had admitted pursuing a nuclear program, which violated a 1994 pact. Washington and its allies cut off oil shipments to the impoverished communist state. The North responded by saying it would reactivate its frozen facilities. It also expelled U.N. monitors and withdrew from the global Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.
  18. Here is the article about this and its not something recent. The Hundredth Monkey by Ken Keyes, jr. The Japanese monkey, Macaca fuscata, had been observed in the wild for a period of over 30 years. In 1952, on the island of Koshima, scientists were providing monkeys with sweet potatoes dropped in the sand. The monkeys liked the taste of the raw sweet potatoes, but they found the dirt unpleasant. An 18-month-old female named Imo found she could solve the problem by washing the potatoes in a nearby stream. She taught this trick to her mother. Her playmates also learned this new way and they taught their mothers too. This cultural innovation was gradually picked up by various monkeys before the eyes of the scientists. Between 1952 and 1958 all the young monkeys learned to wash the sandy sweet potatoes to make them more palatable. Only the adults who imitated their children learned this social improvement. Other adults kept eating the dirty sweet potatoes. Then something startling took place. In the autumn of 1958, a certain number of Koshima monkeys were washing sweet potatoes -- the exact number is not known. Let us suppose that when the sun rose one morning there were 99 monkeys on Koshima Island who had learned to wash their sweet potatoes. Let's further suppose that later that morning, the hundredth monkey learned to wash potatoes. THEN IT HAPPENED! By that evening almost everyone in the tribe was washing sweet potatoes before eating them. The added energy of this hundredth monkey somehow created an ideological breakthrough! But notice. A most surprising thing observed by these scientists was that the habit of washing sweet potatoes then jumped over the sea -- Colonies of monkeys on other islands and the mainland troop of monkeys at Takasakiyama began washing their sweet potatoes. Thus, when a certain critical number achieves an awareness, this new awareness may be communicated from mind to mind. Although the exact number may vary, this Hundredth Monkey Phenomenon means that when only a limited number of people know of a new way, it may remain the conscious property of these people. But there is a point at which if only one more person tunes-in to a new awareness, a field is strengthened so that this awareness is picked up by almost everyone!
  19. Yes it is true that their brains are very similar just like human brains are very similar to each other but still the coinsidence as some may say, is too big. For example when groups of scientists were all in the brink of discovering the HIV virus they were competing with each other and wouldnt share information with the other groups yet they ended up sharing te award at the end when they discovered it, because they all discovered it like only seconds or minutes apart. Coinsidence or what thats just another example.
  20. Thank you Blike thats exactly what I was talking about. But not exactly how the birds change direction at the same time in the sky but how for instance some birds in a certain part of the world, lets say expirience something new and learn it and the same species of bird in another part of the world will automatically learn it as well.
  21. Well for those who dont know the Hundreth monkey theory, Summin it up it means that every species can at difficult times(to be precise)share thoughts for example... Hundred Monkeys each in neighboring Islands, scientists put potatoes in the sand of each Island(note those monkeys had never seen a potatoe in there life)It all started in one Island one monkey took the potatoe and started to wash it another monkey saw it and did the same then all the monkeys in that Island started doing it, then heres the weird part the monkeys in the neighboring Islands all did the same right after withought any communication from the neighborng Island Monkeys. So is it possible to pass your knowledge by thought to another, like in the Hundreth monkey theory? I personaly dont know, wich is why its a theory but I i would like to see others Ideas about this.
  22. Now I love woman. But I think they are insane lol :bravo:
  23. HAHAHA that was great I couldnt it have said it better myself.
