  1. It's only something I've just though of while thinking about the Opera (Oscillation Project with Emulsion-tRacking Apparatus) experiment, which broke the speed of light and how the amount of energy would be measured but would breaking the speed of light change the mass of the particles?
  2. S=Speed C=3 x 108 ms-1 (speed of light) If S>C then E=M(C+(S-C)^2
  3. Okay, so I understand that they come from energy so would that be from kinetic or friction? And please could you give me very basic version of the principal because quantum mechanics isn't really my thing. Thanks
  4. Good question, but I don't know the answer. But it still doesn't solve my questions.
  5. Okay, I have a basic understanding of string theory but not lots so: Please could someone explain it. What are the strings made of? And if what makes up and element are millions of tiny strings vibrating in different frequencies, then why are there not trillions of different elements or I (imaginary number) due to the amount of possible combinations of frequencies together as each string is around 10^-35 meters?
  6. Yes, when your looking from a human point of view, but its not just your brain that might see it. Say it was a lens but nothing was looking through it, you wouldn't have a processing time because what counts is the amount of time it takes the light to travel from A to B.
  7. The way I see it, all the time, wherever we look, we are looking into the past. So if you look through a telescope and something that was 10 light years away, then exactly what your seeing would have happened 10 years ago. So while your looking at your computer right now, you are actually seeing the past but on a extremely small scale. Would this be correct?
  8. Light is slowed down by anything, glass, diamond and even air. It probably just can't be sped up.
  9. Does this experiment of moving particles faster than the speed of light disprove Einstein's theory of Energy=Mass*Speed of light^2? Because the laws of physics say that nothing can exeed the speed of light and if it did then it would travel to the future because the laws of physics won't allow it and therefor will make it go slower but traveling to the future. This could disprove a lot of theories. http://www.guardian.co.uk/science/2011/sep/22/faster-than-light-particles-neutrinos So did these particles go through time?
  10. Hi, I had a look at the Bell Island boom incident and I think it is very interesting and there are a lot of different theories. Personally, I think it was a solar flare which radiated plasma energy, causing electronic disruption, electrocuting animals, blasting holes in the ground, a huge BOOM, and an unexplained ball of light. I would really like to hear some of your theories and views on my theory (I know it's extremely vague but I'm don't know very much about solar flares and plasma energy.) Here are some links: http://en.wikipedia....iki/Bell_Island http://www.stopdirec...reeservers.com/ http://en.wikipedia....iki/Bell_Island http://www.rumormill....cgi?read=20055 http://veracityvoice.com/?p=428

  12. Yeah, I did a bit of research and I found out about it changing the frequency, Thankyou
  13. Easist way to explain is a dead stop between "a" and "b". A being past and b being future.
  14. I know things like water, glass and diamond slow light down but I was wondering about something like this. If you shine directed light (like a laser) at a moving object will the distance be a constant or variable with the time being constant? So would that be changing the speed of light? I will reply to any questions about the theory.
  15. Sorry, I dont mean question I mean formula.
  16. So what is the energy measured in? And also how was the question worked out?
  17. Do you mean the time it takes for your brain to process it after thought? But it would just start getting impossible for humans alone to tell the difference of where the glass is.
  18. This website tried downloading a virus so i decided to ping it and shut off the server using CMD. I used "ping (website)" to get the statistics and ip address and the i used the "ping (ip address) -t -l 1000" command and the packets went over to the server and i left it for a few hours and the website didn't even lag. And I don't think its the website itself because I've tried it on a few different websites but nothing big like google or youtube. So whats going wrong?? Thankyou
  19. The speed of light has already been achieved. Read this: http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/09/22/us-science-light-idUSTRE78L4FH20110922
  20. Interesting, it could be possible. There are so many theories though. Here's mine: http://www.scienceforums.net/topic/60571-new-theory-of-the-big-bang/
  21. Well have you ever heard of the Miller-Urey experiment? He uses water (H2O), methane (CH4), ammonia (NH3), and hydrogen (H2)to form 20 different amino acids. Heres the link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miller%E2%80%93Urey_experiment
  22. Well I can't answer that because its impossible to know. My theory is very basically a big pile of dense mass was dumped out from a white hole and exploded.
  23. Well the other universe and dimension would be through and on the other side of the wormhole. The other universe would be impossible to reach from our universe without going through a wormhole because it's like another section of infinity.
