The point you make about verbalizing thought is irrelevant as far as a dog is concerned. We do not know or understand every nuance or noise or movement that a dog makes to other dogs.

We largely only understand dogs in relation to ourselves.

Do we say that a new baby has no soul because we do not understand everything which is expressed within their crying?

Very cool, hypertilly. I have tuned pianos for thirty years and have dealt with more personalities than I care to. There have been three or four people I literally walked out on as fast as I could, and a few others who will not see me again. These are not bad statistics for dealing with a few hundred people per year.

Understand

I worked for a man once who it seemed to me at the time, loved no one but himself. He collected people like many people collect objects, he bad- mouthed everyone of us to the other - always confident that he was in control.

He operated like a puppet master. But if you ever asked him for anything his anwer would always be yes. Is this a selfish man?

Why don't we have a misc subject area where subjects such as logic, economics, neuroscience, nanotechnology and many of the other areas mentioned could go. This could be done for a trial period and the two or three, that prove to be the most popular can remain in the own subject area.

The MOD have made an exception in this case allowing them to do so... Who can should "propaganda"?

To answer your question about how we determine the chemical formula for a compound, here's how it works. There are a variety of techniques we can use to dermine what elements are present in a particular chemical. These techniques include: gas-chromotography/mass-spectrometery(GCMS), nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), infrared spectrosocopy (IR) and a few other chromatographic methods. These techniques can identify what elements are present and what percentage of the compound it makes up. I don't know how much detail you are looking for here but I can explain this further if you would like. I would recommend that you go to google and look up the information on GCMS, NMR and IR and that will help you understand how each one of these work.

I believe everything animal has a soul but different intelligences to understand their soul. So a dog has a soul but won't understand it but intelligent creatures such as other Great Apes and probably delfines understand to an extent, if not as much as Humans what it means "to be" and have a concept of self.

How do you know that a dog doesn't have the intelligence to understand its own soul? You and I are not dogs.

Some (a lot) of people simply don't have that kind of mental ability

Everyone is capable of learning.

The mind can be trained to be disciplined and highly intelligent.

it just takes the right sort of encouragement.

Remember we only come into this world with a couple of reflex actions,

1) How does the camera tell them? Does a computer voice call out after them.

 

2) If their disgusting enough to drop litter then I'm sure they'll just ignore a camera....unless sirens and stuff go off...that'll just embaress them.

Not really sure. Maybe the camera is fitted with a voice sensor or in the central hub an actual human being does this chore. Big brother.

Aside from the actual act itself, what interested me was that would a person take this seriously, its a bit like candid camera and then I thought about how technology and authority is becomming more ominous.
