Are you asking why it's so old or how we know how old it is?

I'm just asking if how old earth is. I'm just confused why it's 4.4 or 4.5 billion years old not 6 million years old.

Nobody is welcoming me. I guess their too busy of posting and reading.

I think 2010 is the warmest for now , because this year is "I don't know".

When the failure at the fault plane results in a violent displacement of the Earth's crust, the elastic strain energy is released and elastic waves are radiated, thus causing an earthquake.

But, I don't still get it. I'm confused why it's 4.55 or 4.54 billion yaers old the earth is.

Well, I think it depends. The brain won't functions if it got shot in the head.

Nope. The only scientist that predict is right, the earth is 6 million years old, not billion. Would you agree with it?

Ammm...basically because it's made out of salt , but the answer is that I really don't know the answer.
