My understanding is that they dropped leaflets telling people to evacuate the whole southern part of Lebanon, witch Hezbollah wont do so it isn’t counter productive. Also with this whole Hezbollah kidnapping troops thing, what if they kidnap a NATO soldier(Israel said that since the UN hasn’t worked in the past they want NATO peace keepers). Its not like Hezbollah is just going to let westerners come in and guard the borders. I predict this is going to turn into a big mess.

darkangel199, It is not as though we support needless killing of the Lebanese but there are terrorists in that country and Israel certainly has the right to get rid of them and make them stop firing rockets at them. It isn’t using carpet-bombing to do this, they target the terrorists. Also it is partly the Lebanese people's responsibility for allowing Hezbollah to enter their country. And to say “They are booth fighting the same war” is ridiculous, Hezbollah fights to destroy Israel and Israel fights only to defend it’s right to exist and its people!

This gas ball is much much bigger then a mere star... probably wouldnt phase it much lol.
No but it could ignite it...or it could become part of the fusion mass of the star.

Serious allegations like this need proof.pakistan is backing up terrorists.
You need proof,and use proper English please!Al-quieda,etc r funded by pak govt.
While this is probably true it is doubtful that the government had any knowledge of this at the time.even 9/11 mastermind osama bin laden is hidden in pak.0 -
Even the greatest of leaders where once in there 20s. JFK entered the house of representatives at the age of 29.

I'm not scared of this "World War." The "axis" is simply too weak. Iran, Hezbollah, Syria, Iran and North Korea? Israel could make a parking lot out of all of them all by themselves
Before we invaded Iraq we felt the same way, that we would simply crush them several years later we are still fighting, our solders are still dieing.
One can not underestimate the power of a determined resistance. Not only that but if you include North Korea weach as the ability to launch nucks at California in that “Axis” you start looking at Nuclear Holocaust. Also a war in the aria would only pull the hole Arab world into the conflict. Not only that but in this time of political division in the US it is questionable whether or not the whole nation would be behind the war effort as it was in world war 2 or 1.

While it is true that there have been fewer nuclear accidents this is partly because there are far fewer nuclear power plants the conventional ones. Second Australia has no need for nuclear power they would be far better of using the resources they already have then spending billions of dollars on nuclear power plants. While it is true that uranium is not rare the safety precautions needed make it very expensive in the end. Since Australia really has no need for nuclear power plants it is quit suspicious that they want one (or many).

The whole idea that that Israel must stop is simply ridiculous we have given them about 2 weeks to fight back, we have been at war with Al-Qaeda for 5 years(we invaded Afghanistan on October 7, 2001). To say that Israel doesn’t have the right to defend its self from rocket attacks and retaliate for its troops being kidnapped is equivalent to striping it of its nationhood.

Here's an interesting little ester experiment http://www.cci.ethz.ch/experiments/Borester/en/stat.html

It would go into the wather making NaOH and H the NaOH would react with the H2SO4...so it won't work unless you can somehow keep the NaOH away from the H2SO4

It is my understanding that hydrogen replaces sodium in compounds so couldn’t you make an aqueous salutation of NaHSO4 and bubble hydrogen thro it fro the reaction NaHSO4+H2->H2SO4

I ment MgO2 and not perpetual just until to much heat has dissipated to initiate the next reaction. Also I tryed the Al CaCO3 sometimes to produce lots of CO2 but some of the CO2 that reacts with the Al. Actuly the Al CaCO3may not be thermite...but it burns well.

MgO and Al make a grate termite because both the reactants are flammable so you get
3MgO + 2 Al -> Al2O3
3Mg+Al2O3-> 3MgO+2Al
And then back to the first reaction and this keeps happening until the heat is to low for another reaction
Also good is lime (CaCO3) plus aluminum.

When you don’t sleep you don’t actually lose brain cells they just don’t function as well as they would if you got adduct sleep, this is most likely because your brain need sleep to “rewire”(shift the connections between it’s neurons). Thos will most likely be corrected when you finally get adduct sleep.

no, you don`t!
http://guns.connect.fi/innoplaza/energy/story/Kanarev/coldfusion/ im not sure if thats a credible link but good enough, deretium fuses to a helium nucleus weach then picks up electrons to form helium.

all tin is magnetic....lol i just thught of somthing, you can grind the solder to a powder then magneticly separate it.
0 -
You can hydrolyze the esters by adding NaOH, you may need to heat it slightly.
0 -
Perhaps try using the solder as electrodes in as pure H2O2 as you can get and you should get lead and tin oxide, if it doesn’t work add a few drops of nitric acid to lower the oxidation number. Next magnetically separate the two oxides and do a termite reaction on the tin oxide(the one that is attracted to the magnet the lead oxide will be left behind)

It would be possible to start a chain reaction but its better to keep your neutron source separate so neutrons aren’t wasted hitting beryllium and to get a chain reaction you need a foot ball sized peace of uranium weach is very hard (imposable) to get.

In order to test if the color is because of excited chlorine atoms you could try the experiment in an airtight environment containing pure helium or some other inert gas. Then if the color of the plasma changes with chlorine buildup it’s because of excited atoms. Also if you electrolyses heavy water and the plasma electrode is the cathode(the side where deuterium comes out) you have a cold fusion reactor

It would be intresting if it hits a star, if the gas is hydrogen and it hits a star wouldn't that make a huge star?

According to current understanding' date=' matter can only convert to energy when matter meets anti-matter.
There isn't enough anti-matter around to conver all matter to energy.
Even there is, matter will eventually run out as well.[/quote']
No, E=MC2 mens that one unit of mass is converted to energy at the rate of mass(m) times the speed of light squared(C2). This is how nuclear bombs have such grate amounts of energy.

Try this, fill a beaker with water and add an excess of baking soda, stir well. Then electrolyze it with a 9 volt battery and copper wire, after a little while the positive wire will start to break down and the water will turn blue, you can use the copper hydroxide as a die. If you add enough soda and let it go long enough it will start turning green.
