Who is 100% sure god does not exist, if not then carry on asking questions.
You can ask questions, and people do. But arguing from an unevidenced position is right out.
I'm pretty sure that God is equivalent to the square root of negative oneGod = i?

I must agree that some academic answers will be harder to validate that is why we have some experts, so one can provide a most accurate reply.
Circular logic is so fun.

Hey guys, what's this!
They're not both stationary. Either one is stationary and the other isn't, or neither are. And all of these options are true.0 -
If both X and Y are stationary then how can the distance between them be changing steadily?

this thread wasn't supposed to be about hl2 or halo 2. its about the doom 3 movie. stay on subject
The only other posts on this page are about Doom.

isnt the mass of carbon 12.00111 based on the carbon=12 scale?
Carbon 12 = 12. For C as a whole, you have to take the other isotopes into consideration.

You can play Doom in thirdperson... and you dont find it suspensful at all?
Please define whether you're talking about Doom or Doom III. There is a slight difference you know.
Anyway, assuming you're talking about Doom III, there was no tension. There were things that were annoyingly anti-immersive all the way through, and any scares there were were cheap shocks rather than actual fear.

There's not net[/i'] force.
Yeah, but he doesn't seem the brightest of sparks so I let my language slip.

Question #1. If you have 10 pounds FALLING at 10 Mph how can you use that force to move up 1 pound UP at 100 Mph.
There's no force in a constant velocity thang. So you can't.

Why C?
in Relativity
If that is so then why is light not affected by magnets or electrical fields ?Light is the exchange particle of magnets and electrical fields. Try and work out why it isn't affected by them.

This is a stupid thread.
Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Becuase that's the speed it goes.

Like what? Other than maybe some storyline its not missing anything really. Stunning graphics, real life physics, amazing detail, suspensful gameplay, good cinematics.....what more do you want?
Actual suspensful gameplay, no cinematics as they break immersion, better puzzles, more gameplay variety, less sodding darkness.
As for half life 2, it was pretty good. They could have done A LOT more work on the floor textures and some of the wall textures. Is that your biggest complaint?
The fact that you cant see your hands when picking things up is pretty shitty too, but othger than that it was alrightThat's entirely deliberate, because with the amount of waving about the item usually does you'd either have to restrict that movement or have the interaction look terrible. You'd also cover up most of the item with the hand, making it more difficult to see what it is.
Doom3, on the other hand, has no character shadows. For a game that is designed to show off the engine, that's fairly poor.

I dont want to dwell on this an distract from the thread but the point I was making was that you said 'actually....', which made it appear that you thought i hadnt mentioned WP dualitiy in my post.
To be fair, Swansont was utterly correct to, well, correct you. You said that the electron was a 'wave as opposed to a particle', which, in the english language, means that it is a wave but not a particle, which is incorrect. You then said that there were some opposing results which you claimed we don't understand the results off, but science disagrees. We have predicted things from particle/wave duality, and found them to be true; if you have proof that this is incorrect, please say so.

What exactly is that meant to mean?
Exactly what it says on the tin. They're mostly here to argue, not discuss.

I know I sometimes get headaches from getting up late
The amount of sleep one gets is irrelevent to the question

DS9 used artificial gravity from a non-spin source. If you want to use SciFi, then use B5 as that actually used the spinny g.

The atomic masses on the periodic table are the average masses of the isotopes that occur naturally, in the ratio that they occur. The ones in brackets do not occur naturally, so you can't calculate the similar value.

I feel really out of this conversation because I seem to be the only person that listens to Jazz. Oh well!
You'd be wrong.

Discussion is of a Clinton candidacy, but that may not be well grounded.

This is generally because religious types are more likely to argue a losing position.

I think you mean 'energy given to a charge of 1e by a potential of 1 volt'.
