  1. Hi, Was wondering if the open (and closed) strings are associated with force carriers at all and if so how.
  2. Hi, Was wondering, if and how tunneling is apparent with-in the suns core - the nuclear fusion.
  3. Hi, I was wondering how a brane could expand to universal proportions, because wouldn't there be dissipation of some sort, stretching and instability.
  4. hi, was wondering, what is the phase of existence which in sense moves forward... for example, in a hypothetical situation, say you stopped time. although time is stopped, there is still a phase of everything moving forward. such as in order for the event of stopping time to get to the point of it moving again.
  5. hi, I was wondering why, in simpsons rule - for calculating the area of irregular shapes, there is a 4 in the formula. like so- A = h/3 (df + 4 * dm + dl)
  6. Hi, Wondering why in the formula K = 1/2 m v (squared) for kinetic energy, there is a half.

    velocity

hi, Was wondering why velocity is squared in motion formulas - such as in - v = squared root of v (squared)x + v (squared)y as in projectile motion and other formulas of motion which have the variable v squared or the subject v squared. Is it do with accounting for resistance, which is like proportional (somehow) to the speed of the object or something...

    Psi

hi, I was wondering if Dobbs theory - of the coined psitrons entering another time zone collecting information in the future then going back to the person of interest, in other words 'precognition', has or could have any correlation to the apparent extra time line, said by stephen hawking, and imagined vertically from our normally experienced straight line past-present-future time flow.
  9. In regards to my question on the double-slit experiment solving the observer effect / measurement problem.. I mean, since the experiment shows that the act of observation somehow effects the observed. And the measurement problem or observer effect, which ever you like, precisely revolves around the plausibility of an observing system (such as a brain, like us), causing a system under observation to become a single state or one possibility, what ever that may be. Shouldn't the experiment then directly solve / explain the effect...
  10. hi, I was wondering, shouldn't the outcome(s) of the double-slit experiment solve the observer effect / measurement problem ?

    Anti-matter

Hi, Was wondering if anti-matter is at all associated with supersymmetry...
  12. hi, Was wondering how we can be sure when rearranging an equation/formula, that the worked out formula gives us the correct answer, since the formula is the basis for our interpretation...
  13. but, 'absence of evidence does not correlate evidence of absence', so how can you say, 0 %

    Time

hi, Watch a short movie on quantum consciousness and was wondering how time at the atomic level, considered as not flow but continuous present moments of the now can be considered, via this, as moving backwards ?
  15. hi, Was wondering, in the realm of psychic phenomenon and other associated paranormal activities of the mind, How likely it is that junk DNA is really responsible producing and allowing such brain power, if it is, what could be responsible for its awakening and wether there are/have been any cases of psychics in the world having active junk DNA ? p.s. i know this may seem completely science fiction, but im really interested...
  16. hi, I was wondering, if the vacuum of space (theoretically) consists of virtual particles. When in the picture of traveling through a wormhole by means of connecting 2 points or locations of space and bending them into one thereby allowing the instantaneous travel of a vast distance. In the concept of actually bending space-time. Since the space itself is perhaps made up of virtual particles, as i mentioned. Does/wouldn't this mean, in order to (physically) bend space, it would require some sort of manipulation of the virtual particles themselves, or for generalized sake, whatever makes up the apparent nothingness of space ?
  17. hi, I'm sorry, in the context of what you were saying, what is a 'supersymmetric point particle theory'.

    sparticles

hi, Was wondering, in the midst of M-theory, why there is predicted sparticles. Being like partners for the other normal particles and why they are or need to be heavier than their partners. Is it like a case of (required) equilibrium ?
  19. hi, Though this forum would be a good chance to get a better understanding of problems i have in the worlds of curiosity.
  20. hi, I was wondering, in the view our universe starting from the collision of 2 membranes, whereby the resultant energy and so forth of the collision caused the creation of what we see. And getting into how the collision could happen again (whatever time that may be in the future), how could the future collision of 2 membranes effect our present existing universe, because wouldn't the membranes simply pass through vastness of the vacuum? (excluding their possible effects on gravity etc)
