  1. Okay Kygron, Here, try this link It is a Logarithmic Map of the Universe. Very interesting. I hope this helps you. I too couldn't retrace the link via Nasa as I had originally stated. It must have been eaten by a black hole. http://www.astro.princeton.edu/~mjuric/universe/
  2. Kygron I meant for it to help you. The 2-D anyway. Sorry about adding the 3-D Gees.
  3. Ecoli:What you need to understand is that they are smashing atoms together. Things so small we can't even come close to seeing them with the naked eye. The pseudo black holes they create degrade so quickly, it's hard to detect them. So I wouldn't worry about it.
  4. Okay, but with this knowledge, I believe we should bar these experiments just like we did cloning. One bad calculation or one over egotistical mad scientist may go to far, and then? Well it would be too late. We wouldn't know what hit us. Talk about a super weapon! Gees. I say wait until we get to another galaxy to try these experiments. Somewhere Far Far away from Me!
  5. Search engines now also use Link Popularity to as a means for Ranking you. You need to get hundreds of people to add your link to their site. But make sure it is Relevant to yours, because they also go by Link Relevancy. So if all your links are on Sesame Street and Disney like sites it won't help. You will need hundreds if not Thousands to get your site to Rank Higher.
  6. Shouldn't there be a law that says not to create a black hole? We might be screwed people! Check this out! and let me know what you think.---->http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/4357613.stm

    Ghosts

When I was 13, I was standing in the kitchen waiting for dinner. A Tray which was stacked in the middle of other trays came out as if it were pulled, stayed stationary in mid air for about 2 seconds, and then dropped to the floor. Some people might take that experience and say I know that Ghosts exist. However, even after that happened I still don't believe in Ghosts. I believe there is a scientific explanation that is just beyond our grasps right now. Who knows, maybe my escaping brain neurons had something to do with it.
  8. Not sure, but Nasa has a cool 3-D Universe that's interactive. And they also, already have a 2-D map of what has been discovered already. The Great Wall intrigues me. Here is the sight, It may help--> http://planetquest.jpl.nasa.gov/3Datlas_launch.html
  9. Just a personal possible theory here. But what if instead of out of nothing came the Big Bang, that the Universe was just one Big Solid Mass with no Space. Then at some point a fracture occured. So therefore all the Mass we see has always been. The Space inbetween is what's new. Sorry for the lack of scientific terminology here.
  10. How about, the universe before the big bang was just an infinite solid mass. At some point a fracture occured causing Space to occur allowing for more fractures until .......so on and so forth.
  11. Sorry if you think it was misleading. It is a type of Teleportation though. The funny thing is that I don't think we will ever be able to do the Beam me up Scotty thing, but I do think we will be able to travel faster than the speed of light in about a thousand years.
  12. The understanding is supposed to be that anything that travels faster than the speed of light will become infinitely mass which would in turn require infinite propulsion or what ever. (I'm not up on the terms) But what if like 2 magnets repelling each other could there be a way to repel mass coming from the front of a spaceship so as to not accumulate the mass? (Hope I worded that right) Thereby allowing it to pass the Light Speed Barrier?
  13. I think Chiu is just another guy trying to make money off of gullible people.
  14. I think I would like to, but with the option of ending it if I wanted to.
  15. Thanks, but it looks like admin can only post new polls now. Oh well.
  16. In the 2001 Guinness book of World Records, they report that Scientists had successfully teleported a Photon Atom. Basically by taking 2 atoms that are in no way near each other but somehow causing the other to take on the exact physical attributes as the other by messing with a 3rd atom to cause the whole process. I forget all the details. Anyway, has anyone else heard of this and are there any links to read more about the experiment. Also, what implications could this have for us. If I find my book, I will Quote exactly what it said.
  17. I Believe Europa is a good place to look, but due to the fact that Man will first step Foot on Mars, I believe we will be able to more decisive with our exploration and go right to where we think it is and find it. Mars first, Europa second. Titan? No, don't think so. Interesting moon though.
  18. How do I make this a Poll? I would like to see what others think about this.

    Flying Rods

Mokele is right, I watched a documentary that proved they were just ordinary flying insects stretched out by the camera's rate of frame.
  20. I thought this was a cool site. Check this out http://stardrivedevice.com
  21. Well, 200 years ago, passing the speed of sound seemed impossible. I believe that passing the speed of light is atainable with out question. If not, then the human race is screwed.
  22. I believe Life began simply with the combination of probably only 2-4 different chemicals combining under the right temperatures. Sometimes it is not as complicated as we may want it to be. Even Sperm is alive.
  23. In an issue of Time magazine I Read that we had determined that the Universe will be ever expanding until even one atom will be the size of a Planet. I understand the science behind that. Your Crunch theory has been determined to be wrong already. I believe that the Universe however vast it is, does have an edge that is ever expanding, and we may never be able to see the edge with our telescopes. (Wow, then again, we may be so far from the original big bang that we could never locate it either. I think I just answered my own question.) And Thanks reverse I liked your analogy.
