1. Energy cannot be created or destroyed...but changes form.... and so is soul...theory of incarnation

Why I reject karma and reincarnation

1) Karma is the belief that a person has to live many lives and improve in each until they become an ascended master and finally lose self-awareness into the mindless soup of the cosmic mind.

 

Wrong conception...right is Karma is the belief that "you get what you do .... results are because of your doings "... good or bad ....doesn't matter how hard you worship GOD,,, but if you do untruthful thing...bad deeds.. you will get bad results... like if you sow a seed of apple.. you will get apples .. and not bananas........

2) Alternatively, one chooses ones own next life from the spiritual plane in order to learn something in the next. What the heck did Hitler come to learn?

 

one can't choose next life...noway...you have chance to act right in this birth....next birth ( if occur ) will be based on acts done in previous birth....

rotten.. mean rotten... no new fresh ideas... discourage the open thinking , giving people not warm welcome.. forum govern by so-called owners...etc etc... i don't think that this forum is rotten or so... but do we have any introspection of reflections.in place....... just wondering if any such kind of thinking is in place here....

I am now studying in secondary school. Most of the time I have encountered classical physics, stating gravity is a force, time is constant, distance/displacement is constant, mass is constant, electrons orbit around the nucleus of atoms, etc. Anyone who study Modern Physics would immediately know that the above statements are wrong. If wrong(some may argue that it is just incomplete), then why continue to teach wrong ideas, and then only try and start to correct somebody when he/she is in university. But by the time he/she is in university, it is too late. The very firm idea that gravity is a force, time is constant, distance/displacement is constant, mass is constant, electrons orbit around the nucleus of atoms, etc is well and deeply established, anchored at the deepest realm in side the brain. Adapting a change may not be easy for some people. I used to argue with my teacher over modern/classical physics issues. If Modern Physics were to be taught in secondary school, then such arguments would be unnecessary. So why teach the wrong ideas, the misleading ideas, and somewhat force somebody to change their mind again in university. What`s the point of doing repeated jobs? Simply teach Modern Physics one-off would be better.

I appreciate your concern... this is infect a good question....to build the complex concepts ... the simpler concept are used... and gradually as we graduates.. those become more deeper and complex and refined .... with the time... new observations are added and to explain them... existing model has to be enhanced refined or sometime redefined....this is ongoing process.....but many time most stable/accepted/agreed version is adopted for curriculum.....sometime time in the bottom corner or the appendix.. the latest update is provided ....it is a curve..... from observation to established law....that it take time.....nevertheless .truth is never distorted ( should not be at least ) but presented in such a way that it satisfy the given conditions....... Keep the Sprint high..

Development /creation of religion is a much complicated process.....I personally believe that initially there was no religion... and as human had limited knowledge.... ( even today we claim we discovered many many things .. which may be true from comparison point of view from past .. but it is very limited only...) ... so mankind tried to formulate and gave shape and postulates to explain the phenomena.. which were very very unscientific...

now as we understand many phenomena is much better way..there is a need to update the religious concept.... infarct today now we just don't need religion .. but only science...

Animals for food is not the issue being discussed, so your bigger picture is rather irrelevant.

I won't make any assumptions... but for unknown or unspecified information.. i will make cases... like in your question .. there will be cases.. case 1 : there is no hole... and solution is........ case 2 ...... there is hole.. and solution is..........case 3..... and solution is...... so no need to make assumption.... at the same time with the given time ... we need to limit the cases and align with the question.... hope this help to understanding what it mean by making assumption in maths... these are not assumption but rather cases or solution for which that condition is met...

we are discussion the tip of iceberg here....only small fraction of human cruelty in term of using animals for testing... what about big picture... animal Harvesting .wating precious resources in cultivating them... and cleaning them ....then . killing them using machines and eating them for pleasure...

My thoughts on law.... Law or rule is as we understand the things happened and under the same circumtance will produce the same results....imagine a situation.. where there is no law.. for example law of gravity...it exist.. .

To sustain anything we need two opposite are required to work together ( may be opposite direction) ...and laws are the rule how that opposite work together

It is useful in a discussion like this to address the points made by other posters, and not address points they have not made. Nowhere did I mention people who like to disagree and fight.

Martin Luther King disagreed with how minorities were treated in the US. Do you think he should have gone to a mental hospital?

 

You might ask, "but why would someone like this confrontation, this disagreement?" Because we are, by nature competitive. We like to compete, perhaps on the football field, perhaps in debate. I like disagreeing with you here, because it forces me to marshal my thoughts in order to express as clearly as I can why I disagree with you. That improves my ability to think and I like that too.

centuries old tribal animosity .... wondering if we any scientific study has been done on this topic... not sure...but if we have taught to live to-gather no matter it will some time but it is not impossible thing.. many countries are example of this....

I stand with reality, I see no other option...

and science is reality... love and outcome of love is reality... hate and outcome of hate is reality.....so many real things... books are real... holding a hand of human is real.. but holding the hand of god ?.. is that real...?

The biggest difference between science and Religion.. Science keep on adding the new facts.. acceptance based on experiments are part and parcel of science... but most religion ( not all ) are based on belief ....Science is dynamic religion is not dynamic....Science is needed to live....but people can live without religion... science has one statement ... ..but. different religion has different statement about same thing... strange...and finally.. all scientist can sit together and talk in same lines.. but all religious people cannot sit together..even there GODS don't co-exists.. they can't sit together and talk in same lines... funny..

we are..what we have been taught....isn't the mankind mature enough now to accept fellow human beings..as human being... ....Shouldn't all text book should start teaching the lesson of love for mankind....we are alike .... rather than we are different.....and we will see...that coming generation will be more loving ....No discrimination...No killing .. no hate... All history will be history of mankind.. our history....... rather my or your history.... Think !!!

theses all benefits can be availed by forming group of like minded people... no necessary on religion but be anything else as well... say for example science.. but the negative consequence of .religion is far beyond imagination....'Cultures, history, years of accumulated wisdom' wipe out by invading religion ....conversion, genocide.. because my god is better than his.... funny part is that.. same person is ok after conversion... there are thousand of examples across globe that our valuable history of mankind were destroyed after adopting different religion ... why ?
