  1. Noah wasn't Jewish, the Jewish are the sons of Judah the son of Jacob the son of Isaac the son of Abraham and Abraham lived many years after Noah, Noah lived 950 years according to Quran he asked his people to believe in God during these years day and night Quran 71:6 " He said, "My Lord, indeed I invited my people [to truth] night and day" so he invited to truth many people the flood was the punishment for those people , yes the Jewish were God's chosen people according to Quran 5:20 " And [mention, O Muhammad], when Moses said to his people, "O my people, remember the favor of Allah upon you when He appointed among you prophets and made you possessors and gave you that which He had not given anyone among the worlds." but he broke his promise with them for their bad behavior .
  2. the Bible refers to Noah's flood as a global event "7 The Lord then said to Noah, “Go into the ark, you and your whole family, because I have found you righteous in this generation. 2 Take with you seven pairs of every kind of clean animal, a male and its mate, and one pair of every kind of unclean animal, a male and its mate, 3 and also seven pairs of every kind of bird, male and female, to keep their various kinds alive throughout the earth. 4 Seven days from now I will send rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights, and I will wipe from the face of the earth every living creature I have made.” the Quran does not Quran 71:1 "Indeed, We sent Noah to his people, [saying], "Warn your people before there comes to them a painful punishment." you may notice the word people in Quran and the word earth in the Bible, he collected pairs of each animal not because all of the animals of the earth will die but because the animals of that region will die.
  3. I meant there were not people living in all continents. I did not mean geography .
  4. yes, the world at that time was not the seven continents!!
  5. why the existence of marine and freshwater animals makes Noah's flood imaginary ?
  6. I do not think Muslims have estimated the age of the universe , since the Qur'an has little details, but I think it is more than 6000 the flood of Noah caused the whole world to destroy to begin again with Noah and his family and Noah was at late time (comparing to the time of Adam) because there was the Ark invention.
  7. Christians say that Adam lived 6000 years from now according to the Bible and this man shows that humans lived 25000 years( I am not sure his accent is terrible ) . which means that the Bible is wrong.
  8. the Qur'an does not present a period of time since Adam and Eve, if we consider this man is right, he adds another mistake to the Bible! God gave them women as he did for Adam you may notice that Cain married a woman without speaking to her father.
  9. Ghosts lived with Cain!! Genesis chapter 4 "And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD. 2 And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.........And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.......and it shall come to pass, that every one that findeth me shall slay me." At that time there were only three people, Adam , Eve, Cain, and Abel was killed, so who will run after Cain to kill him? will Adam or Eve kill their son? only if God ordered them, but God did not "And the LORD set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him." and even if Cain lived many years and during these years other people were born, those were Cain's close relatives, nobody from Cain's close relatives will kill him, nobody will correct a mistake by doing another mistake, and another thing Abel died without having sons so who would kill Cain, only if there was Abel's Ghost running after him!! I think the writer of the book, likes the idea of putting marks by God , it appears a lot in the old Testament, even circumcision is a kind of mark. so he invented the idea that Cain was chased, in order to give him the holy old Testament mark!!
  10. perhaps it differs from religion to religion and from belief to belief and from people who interpret religion to others and from people who understand religion to others and from people who apply religion to others.
  11. people invented religion in the past because they needed it , they worshipped gods from their own imagination , so it is not a matter of something true or false when I need a god I make it by myself and worship it , and medical science presents little , people still get blind , they loose thier legs and arms , some depend on drugs which have serious side effects ,etc.Moses , Jesus and Mohammed these prophets just improved the idea about a supernatural entity, if religion is made by people why we see a ( jump) in the progress of its ideas, from people who make their gods to people who worship God having holy books , temples, forbidden and allowed things, prayers, Adam and Eve, etc who did invent all these things suddenly ? Moses?!
  12. I do not see scientific misunderstanding in both the bible and quran errors you skipped my question : why do people consider holy books as scientific books and put them under test? I said holy books in general. what if for an astronaut who is traveling to the moon and everything is OK according to measurements and science how he will feel OK about being harmed or dying only religion will comfort him, I do not see religion as something true or false I see it as a useful thing that deals with things like morals, society , destiny , death.
  13. religion does not explain the universe , it deals with things that people can't do and see , heaven, spirit , afterlife , etc, things that people can do , science and technology are left for them , why people consider holy books as scientific books and put them under test? for instance the quran talks about the earth as it is flat, I do not see an error here, the earth is not flat , but it is a simple language , for example if you have a friend who as a physics professor , and you ask him about the weather tomorrow , because you want to go on holyday , perhaps he says: the sun will rise at 6 o'clock and the weather will be cold, he said the sun will rise instead of saying: the earth rotates around its axis one revolution in 24 hours and in February . ................. and the temperature will be.......... he skipped some facts and accuracy , the same God focus on how earth is good being flat at small arc and distance, people can imagine how it will be difficult if the earth is small and you walk 100 meters changing the angle 90 degrees.
  14. they are only achievable by religion you should take time in consideration , people at that time were not able to do miracles, if for instance a prophet came today he will do things that people can't do today.
  15. Moses destroyed the army of the Egyptians, however atomic bomb destroyed two whole cities. Jesus rose up, people traveled to the moon. etc these ancient miracles and modern actions are not the same , but for people who live today ancient miracles will loose their effect, so what will be special about religion for modern people?
  16. you do not teach , you discuss.I am not stubborn, I am pationt.
  17. 1000 dollars =land with treasure10 dollars = land without treasure blind man = land owner who does not know about his treasure. he gave you a 1000 dollar note = he sold his land with treasure. you took it as a 10 dollar note= the buyer took the land as pure land assuming it does not contain treasure. you did not tell the blind man that he gave you a 1000 dollar note= the buyer did not tell the seller that he had a land full of treasure. finally: the owner owns the land and the treasure= the blind man owns the 1000 dollars.
  18. I am not talking about law, I am talking about religion and its laws, what if a blind man holding a 1000 dollar note gave it to you as a 10 dollar, if you took it as a 10 dollar note no law would punish you but what about God?
  19. the treasure is his, whether he is aware of it or not, he owns the land so he owns everything in it.
  20. although theft is not allowed in the bible , the verse states that theft is good, it is the same as for instance the bible saying: church addiction is like adultery addiction, this means adultery is good.
  21. This mistake has the title: The funniest mistake in the Bible!! Gospel of Matthew chapter 13 verse 44"Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field"(KJV) I'll tell a story to show my understanding for this verse: someone owned a field, he wanted to dig his field to plant more trees, he had a neighbour, so he called his neighbour to help him , the neighbour came to help him, while they were digging, the field owner told his neighbour that he would like to go to drink some water and return, while the owner was away, the neighbour as he was digging found a treasure, so he reburried it and after the owner came he told him that , you are doing much work, why you do not sell me your field, and I will give you 10 times the price!! the owner did not believe him!! so he instantly sold his field to that man. do you think this man is wise or he's just a thief?!! he's dishonest, why he didn't tell the owner about the treasure?when he bought the field he bought it as land not treasure so he tricked and decieved the owner. so, how we would steal the kingdom of heaven?!!
  22. accurate means correct in all details or exact , if the Bible is not accurate I mean perhaps it has 3 or 4 mistakes which is different from being full of mistakes.
  23. I do not say the Bible is not accurate , after I collect all mistakes of the Bible , the answer for the thread question will be : it is full of mistakes .
