Hello there, I have a question for you I hope you can answer. There are enzyme supplements with DPP IV that are being used by children on the autism spectrum. Some of these children present with autoimmune conditions that are mediated by TH17 cells. Would supplementing DPP IV put these children at risk for a worsening of their autoimmune symptoms?

Do you mean dipeptidyl peptidase 4 (DPP-4)? Explain to me what the link is between TH17 and DPP-4; I'm not going to look it up.

Only thing I know about DPP-4 (if we're talking about the same), is that it breaks down glucagon and other incretins, possibly leading to a hypoglycemia?
