fiveworlds Posted June 1, 2016 Share Posted June 1, 2016 The cancer stem cell theory is based on the hypothesis that cancer is caused by stem cells which have the ability to reproduce themselves and are therefore around long enough to cause cancer as opposed to the conventional theory that any cell can become cancerous.
