I held some molten gallium in my hand and my friend was like: 'OMG DUDE ISN'T THAT MERCURY?! DON'T YOU KNOW HOW POISONOUS THAT IS AAAAHHHHHHHH!!!'
And elemental mercury won't kill you if you poke it... I hope.
