Fluid mechanics experiment problem

Hey guys, I have a problem related to fluid mechanics.

My experimental setup is such that two jars contain water.I pump water out of the both jar using pump with separate tubing. The two tubing is combined by using three way splitter and made a single stream of water. The single tubing is connected to filter where it separates debris. The water coming from filter is again separated to two separate stream and pumped back to jar again. While pumping back it always pumps different amount of water to different jar, so the level of water is different in different jar. But I need to make same level of water in both. Is there any way to achieve this?

You need to balance the pressures on the returns from the filter. If you get it close it should then self regulate...if more goes to one the level gets slightly higher and the head pressure will restrict extra flow to that jar/tank. If one jar is farther away you may need a larger tube to that jar/tank, or restrict flow to the other. You can use adjustable valves for fine tuning or simply pinch the tubing with an adjustable clip.
