Distance Question

Thank you for letting me post here; I hope you don't mind.

Some time ago I read that the median distance between the smallest measurable distance (Planck length?) and the farthest measurable distance (known universe) was approximately 6 miles.

Is this correct? Has this changed?

It came up in a conversation recently and I couldn't find the information to back it up. Then I realized it might have changed since I last read it.

Thank you for your help,

Em

Sounds wrong to me. The median of two values is the same as the arithmetic mean. Which is, basically, half the observable universe radius (diameter?).

And not the geometric mean, either I make that about 10 millionths of a metre.
