You are provided with the following information: (i) the sequence of a cDNA fragment of the gene encoding a cell-surface plasmodium receptor. (ii) an expression vector containing T7 promoter and multiple cloning site including EcoRI and BamH restriction sites.

a. Describe how you would clone the coding region fo the gene into the expression vector provided.

Assuming that the cDNA of interest does not already have restriction endonuclease sites, do you have any thoughts on how you can add them?
