Books on Quantum Mechanics

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

Could any of you recomend any books for someone who doesn't know much about quantum mechanics but wants to improve his knowledge with somthing not too complicated?

Assuming you know the content of a calculus based course in Physics I and II (mechanics and EM theory), you could easily handle the following introductory textbooks on QM:

Modern Physics, by Krane

Modern Physics, by Tipler

If you know some differential equations, you could handle:

Quantum Physics, by Eisberg and Resnick

Introduction to the Structure of Matter, by Brehm and Mullin
