Inspired by nature, here`s a few neat Cutesypie ideas for loved ones.

if you get a sharp needle or pin and scratch the skin of a tomato lightly while it`s still growing and green the design will grow and stay there when ripe, initials are always a good one to use.

but the best one is if you have an apple tree, while the apples are still green, get some black felt material, cut a small heart shape out of it and wrap it around the apple (you want the heart cutout to facing the sun idealy) when it`s ripe, you`ll get a green apple with a red heart on it, Ideal for valentines :)

and who says Science can`t be all mushy gushy :))

Thanks for that I'll go buy an apple tree imediatey. When you say scratch do you have to pierce the skin or just scrape the surface.

scrape the surface only, you don`t need to puncture the skin.

as for the apple tree, it`ll work on ANY variety, you`ll still get a result, but the ones that turn red on ripening look the coolest :)

When I was a kid we used to cut daffodils and put them in water stained with food coloring. In a day the daffodil would have stripes the color of the dye all over the blossom.
