An aspirate of a deep wound was plated on a blood agar plates aerobically &anaerobically. At 24hrs there was growth on the anaerobic plate only. the next step is: begin organism identification

The answer is to begin organism ID. Why would we not let the plates continue growing? (I hope this is not a very obvious Q.)
